Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G

it is a Docg brand since 1992. This wine is famous for its great intensity, concentration and aging capacity thanks to the high polyphenolic content, obtained from the 100% Sagrantino grape. The Sagrantino wine varies from the color purple to very dark and it has red fruits aromas , cinnamon and earth. It requires a minimum of 30 months of aging, of which at least twelve months in wooden barrels, followed by a further period

About 1,000 ha cultivated area in Montefalco, Bevagna, Giano dell’Umbria, Gualdo Cattaneo, Castel Ritaldi – Cultivation altitude: from 220 m. above sea level to 472 m. of the highest hills. Harvest late September.
This wine is a DOC bland with about 60% Sangiovese grape,10-15%, of Sagrantino grape and other varieties of red berry authorized by a severe disciplinary of Perugia Province. The Montefalco Rosso has a colour red ruby intense and brilliant with purple hues. It has a delicate odour with notes of ripe fruit; dry and full-bodied flavour. The aroma is very persistent on the nose with typical hints of berries, raspberry and blueberry that bind perfectly with the vanilla given by the wood. The taste is full and slightly tannin. It is a wine with an aging capacity that can evolve in the bottle, if well preserved, for 5 or more years.

Montefalco, Bevagna, Giano dell’Umbria, Gualdo Cattaneo, Castel Ritaldi –The slope of the vineyard plots and the general exposure is variable, creating a wide range of microclimates and cultivation conditions.

Assisi Rosso D.O.C

The Assisi DOC red wine are includes Sangiovese grape 50-70%, Merlot 10-30%. The main organoleptic characteristics of the red Assisi DOC is a ruby red colour, the olfactory profile is vinous, characteristic and, dry, full -bodied, harmonious, intense at the palate.
- 50-70% Sangiovese grape, 10 – 30 % Merlot and Canaiolo grapes

Temp. 18 -20° – meat and game or tomato-based spicy sauces.
Perugia, Assisi, Spello – “Palmet” method of cultivation, or fan pruning, with spring cluster thinning and organic farming methods without the use of pesticides and herbicides.
Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG is a wine mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes (min. 70%) and other black grape varieties, non-aromatic and suitable for cultivation for the Region of Umbria up to a maximum of 30 %. These other types of vines are almost exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Canaiolo and Colorino.

Trebbiano Spoletino D.O.C

- This white wine is a native variety of Umbria White grapes, registered on 1970. Aromatic herbs and citrus aftertaste notes, together with a marked freshness, characterize the flavour. The Spoleto Trebbiano is an ancient vine, which has run a serious risk of extinction. Its cultivated area amounts to 200 ha, and its productivity is very high and prefers good exposure and expanded pruning.

Spoleto – Trevi – Foligno about 200 ha cultivated area on hills and plains. Harvest middle October.
The vines included in the composition of Spoleto DOC white wine are Trebbiano Spoletino min .50%, others.The organoleptic characteristics of the white Spoleto DOC include a straw yellow colour. The olfactory profile of the Spoleto DOC white wine is characteristic, delicate, dry and fresh on the palate. The Regione Umbria regulates the disciplinary of Spoleto Doc.

Grechetto D.O.C

The Grechetto, probably originally from Greece, is today considered a native vine of Umbria or more extensively of Central Italy. Grechetto Orvieto and Grechetto Todi are the main referred white grape wines in Umbria and the have an intense straw yellow colour, good structure and intense and elegant aromas, with fruity notes. The Grechetto well lends to wooden aging and the production of sweet wines is the excellent result of late vintages or dried grapes. Rarely Grechetto blends with Chardonnay grapes.
- 100 % Grechetto grapes
- Medium-small white berry, spherical, consistent skin, very waxy and colour greenish yellow.
Good structured with elegant fruity and floral aromas.

Todi and Orvieto – Grechetto is a highest productivity vines in white grapes wines and it requires of a long pruning process. Late September Harvest.
